tibiThey charged me an extra 99.95, when I only wanted the 29.95 5 pieces kit! They send the first kit and then without any confirmation they send me a new one!
I am really sorry, but small letters for something that is not clear that you are becoming a member doesn’t not seem right to me. Especially when they charge first 29,95 and than without any notice send another one charging of 99.95!!! This compromises the name of the company. I could even consider the possibility of ordering more from proactive. But because of this type of treatment we receive I won’t and I will not recommend it to anybody!
Here it goes the notice placed online in the first page of your order. This notice does not come in the e-mail confirming your order, nether on any other membership e-mail they send us within the first order! (Please notice the word ACCEPT, I didn’t accept anything other than the first 29.95 value kit, they just decided to send it and bill it!)
“Proactiv® Plus Deluxe System. When you order today you’ll also get a FREE Refining Mask and Travel-size Green Tea Moisturizer! After 30 days, you’ll receive a new 90-day supply of our Deluxe 5-piece kit every 3 months at the guaranteed low price of just $29.95 per month plus $9.99 s&h per subsequent shipment you accept, which will conveniently be billed to the credit card you provide today. Every Proactiv® order comes with our 60-day Money Back Guarantee (less s&h). Proactiv is the #1 acne system in the world!”
I am sorry, but there is nothing saying that I am becoming a member and they word it as if it was a matter of choice! This is a very tricky scam. I have not signed for any membership, but just by ordering online they did it without my permission!!! Here is a part of the e-mail when they confirm shipment:
“P.S. You now have access to the exclusive ActivMember™’s area of the New Proactiv Website, http://www.proactiv.com. If you’ve already registered (many do when placing their order), you can “sign in” using your email address and the password you set up. If you haven’t registered yet, it’s quick and easy to do so using your new Account Number (below). You’ll enjoy shopping the complete Proactiv® line of top quality skin-care products. As an ActivMember™, you’ll enjoy up to 25% savings on purchases plus in-depth information on acne, instructional videos, free access to skincare advisors and more. It’s designed to help you succeed!”
Why they don’t know I if am a member or not? Why they don’t say that by becoming a member we will receive package without our request that we will have to pay for it? Why they do not confirm the second shipment or do not have the courtesy of treating well their clients by sending an e-mail confirming if they want or not a second shipment?
That to me is exploring in a unfair way their customers. This company doesn’t seem to seek the best interest of their clients, they seek to explore them! Don’t you think they already know that many people get confused with their system and end up paying more and for things we don’t want?

Refugio HughsonPimple is a considerable difficulty for many folks. There are so many items obtainable that it is bewildering. I am thinking about giving that blue light therapy a try. I see they’ve got one on Amazon for about $40. Has any one had any luck from it?

Penney MatushevskyI wonder how many things like this is connected to our emotions like stress. The mind has such powers over our physical health. So much maybe can be improved by improving our mental states.

Dominica LauderIts amazing how much improvement can be made in ones problems with acne by simply washing their face well. Acne begins with the blocking of pores with the body’s natural oils and plain old regular dirt.

Glen GombertAcne can affect either teenagers or adults; people may suffer from acne for a long time. It is difficult to identify the exact age group, race, or sex of people who are affected by acne most of all. A big difference can be made by simply washing your face well.

Rueben Folwellhello it is my first post on this website and firstly I would like to thank for the unique information, which I were able to find in this and all previous topics , it really helped me very much. I will definitely add this website on my rss reader
Also, I would like to ask – don’t you mind if I will quate some information from your website because I am writing articles for the Helium, Ezine and other articles directories (this is my part time job)? It would really help me with some of mine articles. Of course, I will mention your website name or URL (not all articles directories allows URL’s , so I can’t 100% promise that you will get a direct link to your blog).

vegasReplacing Fruits as your source of sweets will be another great choice when dealing with acne. Simple carbohydrates allows the body to become acidic. An acidic body is a great environment for bacteria to produce in your body. Sweets also causes an increase blood sugar regulating insulin. Which causes skin inflammation.

Melbelle2300Not happy with the service from Proactiv. I ordered the product for my nephew who subsequently decided he did not like it. I canceled my order. You would think that would be end of the relationship with them. Not so. Proactiv pushes vitamins on their website for a free trial. What they don’t tell you is the vitamins, which are horribly overpriced, are also set up on continuous order. To my surprise, canceling the skin care order did not cancel the vitamin order. I found additional charges on my credit card for the vitamins long after the skin care order was canceled. Truth be told, I had zero interest in their vitamins. Even after returning the product (vitamins) within 60 days of receipt, they would not give me a refund. Both Proactive skin care and the Vita Clear businesses are owned by the same corporation, Gunthy Ruker. Yet, they play dumb when referring to each others products. I am extremely disappointed with Proactiv and I am sorry I ever considered doing business with them.
